Printing Inks

The DigiFabric printing process is based on the inkjet method, using reactive dyes. Reactive dyes are typically used for cellulose-based substrates such as cotton, linen, and viscose. These dyes require alkaline conditions to chemically bond with the fibers, ensuring excellent durability and vibrant colors.

The DigiFabric Mutoh printer operates with eight different colors: CMYK, plus B (Blue), OR (Orange), VSGY (Gray), and LM (Light Magenta). The ink has low viscosity (3–5 mPas at 20°C), ensuring smooth application. The high fixation level of the ink reduces color bleeding during washing, helping to keep wastewater cleaner.
